Just in case anybody wonders, what Trina did was epic for ANYONE! Imagine climbing a 3000 foot wall of granite. The endurance, the pure effort, the weather (it gets real windy up there a ways), the rain at night, sleeping on basically an army cot hanging on that wall, going to the bathroom and hauling EVERYTHING out in the leave no trace ethic. Finally, think about doing it with colitis. We are amazed at this woman.
Lesley, you are the best friend anyone could ask for supporting me through this crappy disease for a lifetime ! I know that if you could climb, you would climb with me because you are that AMAZING. Thank you for being there for me or else it would have been easy to give up.
Congratulations Trina!! Your determination, zeel & focus are to be admired especially with your health !! Wonderful you are having so much support from the gym your family all the wonderful supporters out there. We admire your fund raising project for the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, but be careful not to over tax your self on the big mountain!
All the best to all of you we love you !!!! Mom & Dad
Hi Dr. Trina, you are amazing ! My father lives near Yosemite and I’ve seen the challenge of climbing it from the bottom with my feet firming planted on the ground!! You are truly inspiring . Thank you for honoring us by sharing your story…….I love your heart !!
So proud to know Trina and so grateful for the hard work she has put into CCFA and her continued efforts to help find a cure for Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative Colitis.

You will have the experience of a life time.
My neighbor, JH, is a patient of yours and she told me about your fundraising drive.
My co-worker has battled Crohn’s for a number of years now and I see the toll that it takes on him. I am impressed by your commitment and resilience in preparing for this climb and I wish you success and all the best. Thank you, Nancy Christy

Truly, it means so much to me that patients, family and friends get behind a cause that means so much to me. The CCFA does great work for patients. This money in particular, will go directly to research. Thank you.

I HOPE that Im the first to respond to your email! I like being first. Your story is both brave and amazing. Thank you for sharing. Craig and the twins are so fortunate to have you in their daily lives. Your ending words of NEVER NEVER NEVER GIVE UP, brought tears to my eyes, and epitomizes your character and life journey. In your honor, I’d like to donate $500. You’ve done so much for other people in your medical practice and daily life. It’s only fitting to give to such a great cause. Thank you and Craig for telling me about Ideal Protein and permanent weight loss. It changed my life has opened up so many other opportunities to meet new people. Frequently I hear “Doctor Trina,” in my IP community of new friends. For that, I’m most grateful. Keep Encouraged, and come over to go kayaking when the weather warms up! Cheers.
Dear Trina, this incredible letter came across my email today by a member of the Toronto Crohn’s and Colitis committee that we both know. I am a cousin of yours and the cure that you climb for is one that is very dear to me and my family. Your story is an amazing one and you look like you are doing great. You are clearly a strong person who just wont let this awful disease stop you from living life to its fullest! I wish you all the best of luck with your climb. Keep raising money and find that cure. We must never, never, never, give up! Wishing you the best always, Jordi Greenspoon
